POWER AND ITS UNITS

Power ဆိုသည္မွာ စက္မႈနည္းပညာတြင္ ထပ္တိုးသင္ၾကားရမည္ ပညာရပ္တစ္ခုပင္ျဖစ္သည္။ Power သည္ Physics ဘာသာရပ္၏ အေျခခံအသိပညာမဟုတ္ေသာ္လည္း လက္ေတြ႔တြင္ အလြန္ပင္အသံုး၀င္ေသာ ပညာရပ္ျဖစ္ေပသည္။ Work ဆိုေသာအရာကို န၀မတန္းတြင္ဖြင့္ဆိုတင္ျပထားခဲ့ျပီးျပီျဖစ္သည္။ ကိစၥအခ်ိဳ႕တြင္ Work Done ပမာဏကို သိရန္အေရးၾကီးေသာ္လည္း အခ်ဳိ႕ေသာကိစၥမ်ားတြင္ rate of doing work ကို ပိုသိရွိျခင္းသည္ ပိုအေရးၾကီးသည္။ ဆိုလိုသည္မ်ာ Work Done ႏွင့္ Rate Of Doing Work တြင္ rate of doing work သာ ပိုမိုအေရးၾကီးေပသည္။

The rate or doing work (or) Power (အလုပ္လုပ္ႏိုင္ေသာႏႈန္းထားပမာဏ)

 

The rate of doing work is defined as power. 

စက္ပစၥည္းတစ္ခု၏ အလုပ္လုပ္ႏိုင္ေသာပမာဏကို ၎စက္ပစၥည္း၏ Power လို႔ေခၚပါတယ္။

The unit for power in SI units is the watt (W).

Power ၏ တန္ဖိုးသတ္မွတ္ခ်က္သည္ SI တန္ဖိုးသတ္မွတ္ခ်က္တြင္ Watt ျဖစ္သည္။

ကားအင္ဂ်င္မ်ား(Car engines)၊ ေရစုပ္စက္မ်ား(Water pumps)၊ refrigerators (ေရခဲေသတာမ်ား)၊ air conditioners(ေလေအးေပးစက္မ်ား)၊ electronic bulbs(လွ်ပ္စစ္မီးသီးမ်ား)၊ fluorescent tubes(လွ်ပ္စစ္မီးေခ်ာင္းမ်ား) စသည္တို႔ကို ၎စက္ပစၥည္းမ်ား၏ their rated powers (သတ္မွတ္ Power ႏႈန္းထား) အတိုင္းသာ အမ်ိဳးအစားခဲြထားပါသည္။

If the work done in 1 second is 1 joule, the power is 1 watt. Therefore

အခ်ိန္ 1 second အတြင္း ၿပီးေျမာက္ေသာအလုပ္သည္ 1 joule ရွိလွ်င္ power သည္ 1 watt ရွိသည္။

Watt ၏ သေကၤတျဖစ္ေသာ W ႏွင့္ Work ၏ သေကၤတ W တို႔တူညီေနသည္ကို မေရာေထြးေအာင္သတိထားသင့္သည္။

Watt ထက္ၾကီးေသာ power ၏ unit မ်ားမွာ kilowatt (kW) ႏွင့္ megawatt (MW) တို႔ျဖစ္သည္။

1 kW = 1000 W = 10³ W

1 MW = 1000 000 W = 10⁶ W

In the CGS system, the unit of power is erg s⁻¹.

CGS system တြင္ Power ၏ Unit သည္ erg s⁻¹ ျဖစ္သည္။ 

If the work done is 1 erg in 1 second, the power is 1 erg s⁻¹.

အခ်ိန္ 1 second အတြင္း ၿပီးေျမာက္ေသာအလုပ္သည္ 1 erg ရွိခဲ့လွ်င္ Power ၏တန္ဖိုးသည္  erg s⁻¹ ျဖစ္သည္။ ။
